Brilliant place for exploring Saint Joseph. Clean, small hotel. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. The location amazing and stunning on a picturesque beach. Not far from 3 or 4 restaurants, the Soup Bowl and the ocean.

We spent nine days at Rest Haven Beach Cottages and enjoyed the perfect location opposite the beach. The comfortable bed and thick towels added to our relaxing stay. The owner was very pleasant and made sure all our needs were met. We loved waking up each morning, making coffee, and watching the sunrise in this tranquil and romantic location. The view of Soup Bowl and the Bathsheba coast right on our doorstep was unbeatable. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A great introduction to Barbados village life and culture.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The location of the cottages was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach right in front. The views of the Atlantic were breathtaking. the locals in the area were very friendly and kind, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
During the New Year period, we were unable to hire a car as they were all booked out. This made it difficult to explore the surrounding areas.

The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the beach and great waves for surfing. We loved being just steps away from the sand and being able to easily access multiple eateries nearby. the apartment was older but had its own unique charm, and we appreciated the authentic feel. Plus, the apartment offered all the necessary appliances and amenities, making it a comfortable stay overall.
Although the apartment had its charms, there were a few things that could be improved. the mosquito nets didn't have closures, which made it difficult to keep bugs out at times.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the laid-back atmosphere and stunning view of the iconic rocky beach of Bathsheba. the balcony provided a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sound of waves breaking over the coral reef. the friendly locals made us feel welcome, always ready for a chat and offering assistance. the location near the East Coast surf was ideal for those wanting a chill vibe and great sunrises. the cottage had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen.
Felt cozy, no complaints at all.

Stayed at this charming little place with a view of the sea. Enjoyed the free WiFi and private parking - all the essentials for a posh lady like me.
Couldn't sit on the beach because of seaweed, but who needs a beach when you're busy being fabulous?

We had an amazing time at our beach cottage in Bathsheba. the hosts at Rest Haven made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to meet all our needs. the cottages were spacious, with beautiful porch's overlooking the ocean. the location was unbeatable, with Soup Bowl and the Bathsheba coast just steps away. We would happily return again, thanks to the excellent service and value for money. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊.

The hosts at Rest Haven Beach Cottages were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the cottages was absolutely fantastic, right on the beach with stunning views. We loved being able to relax on the veranda with a cold drink in hand, listening to the waves crashing on the shore. Bathsheba itself was a friendly and welcoming village, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Although hiring a car is recommended to explore more of the island, there is also a convenient hourly bus service to Bridgetown and every two hours to Speightstown. we had a great experience at Rest Haven Beach Cottages.

The room had a cozy seating area where I could unwind after a hectic day. It felt like my own little relaxation spot. I was mesmerized by the breathtaking sea view from my room. It added an extra touch of tranquility to my stay. This apartment had a lovely bedroom and a comfy sofa in the seating area. It was perfect for a solo traveler like me. I loved the patio and seating area in my room. I enjoyed sitting there and soaking up the sun. The private bathroom was well-equipped with a bath and a shower. It was convenient for refreshing myself after a long day.
Personally, I felt that the tea and coffee maker in the apartment could have been better.
